Grandma Cutler Came to Texas

It was so fun to have Mom come to Texas and help me take care of my three kids. Little Devin and Layne love their grandma and she spoiled them rotten. In this picture, Devin, Wesley, and Grandma are playing peek-a-boo with the blanket. We miss you Mom!

Wesley Arrived!

We are proud to announce the birth of our newest bundle of joy. . . Wesley Daniel Burbank! He was born at 11:54 AM on December 21, 2009 weighing 7 lbs 4 oz.

Santa Pictures

American Airlines did a little picture with Santa day for the kids. Laura and I loaded up the van with all three little kids and took them to get their pictures with Old Saint Nick. Ben was able to come too, and it was well worth the ten minute wait in line and five dollars for the gorgeous 8X10 pictures we got. Little Emily wasn't too fond of Santa, but looked cute anyway in her little pink pig-tails. Layne really bonded with Santa, even stroking his gloved hand in one of his characteristic gestures of acceptance.

Job Search Update

Hello Family and Friends!

 

I wanted to give everyone a quick update on how my job search is going.

 

A couple of weeks back I interviewed and accepted a temporary position with The Expo Group.  This assignment will start July 20^th and go to the end of October.  This position is not related to Project Management, but will provide some income for the family and extend our unemployment benefits.  I hope that during this time I can create an opportunity for a PM job at The Expo Group.

 

I am also working with a recruiter on a position with Medhost.  I would be implementing software applications in Hospital Emergency Rooms across the nation.  I should know early this week if they want a phone interview with me.  In the meantime, I have a phone interview with Tel-Tron on Monday, July 13.  This is for a PM position installing emergency call systems for retirement communities.  I will keep you posted on the outcome of these two positions.

 

I also wanted to thank all those who have sent me job leads.  With your help, we can make it through.
